The shape of the skull, and the unclear boundaries between the figure’s body and the surrounding environment, or structure, suggests that the figure is a part of its location. The surroundings are made up by grids and diagonals and shapes with sharp angles, and the strong directions toward the throat symbolise a prompt to speak or to make yourself heard, as if for the first time.
